Here is the ground the questions cover. Year 4 introduces perimeter as the distance around a shape and area as the space inside, measured by counting square centimetres and square metres. Students compare areas, find the perimeter of rectangles and irregular shapes, and start to see why counting squares is slow for large rectangles.
The items are tagged to the Victorian Curriculum for Year 4, so a score here reflects the standard a Year 4 class is working to, not a generic online level.
