The Northern Territory has no selective-entry high school test. Entry is by zone at government schools and by scholarship at the independent schools, so getting ahead in Darwin is about the child's own year level rather than a placement exam, and the free Skills Check is the benchmark most Territory families use.
Years 11 and 12 in the Northern Territory lead to the NTCET, which is the SACE delivered through the SACE Board: Stage 1 in Year 11 and Stage 2 in Year 12, with school assessment and external assessment in Stage 2 subjects. RHZ tutors the SACE the way we tutor every non-Victorian senior certificate: we support the underlying maths, English and science skills and the study technique a Year 11 or 12 student needs, but we do not claim SACE syllabus or school-assessment expertise. For Prep to Year 10, yes in content and sequence. Each state publishes its own version (NESA syllabuses in New South Wales, the SCSA curriculum in Western Australia, the Victorian Curriculum in Victoria) but all are built on the Australian Curriculum version 9, so a Year 5 child in Darwin is doing the same fractions, decimals and measurement as a Year 5 child in Melbourne. Years 11 and 12 are where the states genuinely differ.
