Years 7 to 10 move quickly everywhere: integers and algebraic expressions in Year 7, linear equations and indices in Year 8, surds, trigonometry and linear graphs in Year 9, then quadratics, simultaneous equations and the first senior-style problems in Year 10. Sessions follow the school's sequence so tutoring reinforces class, but the tutor steps back a year whenever the Skills Check shows a foundation is missing. Year 10 is where every state's students choose between a calculus-based and a general senior maths pathway, and we want that choice made from strength.
An online maths session runs for an hour. The first reason is that the curriculum is national. Prep to Year 10 maths, English and science in New South Wales follow a syllabus built on the Australian Curriculum (version 9), the same document Victoria's curriculum and every other state's is built on. The strands, the content and the order are the same: fractions in Year 3, algebra from Year 7, quadratics in Year 10. Years 11 and 12 in New South Wales follow NESA syllabuses (Mathematics Standard, Advanced and Extension; English Standard, Advanced and Extension; the separate sciences), with school-based assessment feeding into the HSC examinations. Yes for Prep to Year 10. Every state's maths syllabus is built on the Australian Curriculum, so the topics and their order are the same; what differs is pace and emphasis, and the tutor checks that against the school's current unit in the first session and against the free Skills Check result.
Usually yes, because most students who hate maths actually hate feeling lost in class. Once the Skills Check shows the two or three missing skills and the tutor rebuilds them, class starts making sense again and the attitude follows. Online, shy students often participate more than they would in a room.
One hour a week is the norm for Prep to Year 6 and is enough for steady progress if the short home practice is done. Two sessions a week are worth it for a student who is more than a year behind, or in the term before NAPLAN or a selective or scholarship test.
For Prep to Year 10, yes in substance: New South Wales's syllabus is built on the Australian Curriculum, the same as Victoria's, and our tutors work from the school's current unit. For Years 11 and 12 we are honest: we support the maths, English and science skills and the study technique a HSC student needs, but we do not claim HSC syllabus or school-assessment expertise, and we will say so if a subject is outside what we can help with.

For Prep to Year 10, yes in content and sequence.
