How it works

Free Skills Check. Your child does the free online Skills Check (10–15 minutes) pitched at the top of their year level. You get a topic-by-topic report the same day.

Free consultation. We call you for a free consultation, go through the result together and suggest a starting point and a format. Nothing is charged until you decide to go ahead.

Targeted sessions. Sessions begin with a matched tutor, with a plain-English progress note to you after every session.

Pricing

One-to-one tutoring is $35–$45 an hour depending on the year level; small groups of up to five are from $25 an hour. Plans are monthly, you choose how many sessions a week, and you can cancel any time. The Skills Check and the consultation are free. Online and in-person sessions cost the same.

Frequently asked questions

Is RHZ Tutoring affiliated with any of these schools?

No. RHZ Tutoring is not affiliated with any school. We are an independent centre in Truganina; students from these schools come to us privately, and we teach to the Victorian Curriculum and the VCE study designs.

Why list schools at all?

Because parents search by school, and because the year levels a school covers change what matters: NAPLAN years, the Year 7 transition, selective-entry and scholarship tests, VCE. Each page explains that for the school's range and gives the travel and timing details from its suburb.

My child's school is not listed. Can you still help?

Yes. We tutor students from any school, Prep to Year 12, at the centre or online. The list is simply the schools our current students most often come from.

Do you use the school's materials?

We plan from the Victorian Curriculum and the Skills Check result, and we work on the student's own school texts, tests and rubrics when you bring them. We do not have access to any school's internal materials.

Where is the centre?

17/47 Apex Drive, Truganina VIC 3029, about four minutes from Tarneit station, with free parking outside. After-school sessions run 3:30 pm to 7 pm Monday to Thursday and 3:30 pm to 6 pm on Friday.
