A good maths tutor does one thing before anything else: finds out which earlier skill is missing. Our after-school window is 3:30 pm to 7 pm Monday to Thursday and 3:30 pm to 6 pm on Friday, in one-hour sessions. As a rule most Tarneit families take a 4 pm or 4:30 pm slot, which leaves time for the school pick-up and the 5-minute drive. The last session of the day starts at 6 pm (5 pm on Fridays).

Free consultation. A tutor calls you for a free consultation, walks through the result and recommends a plan: 1:1 or small group, in person or online. No card, no lock-in.

Targeted sessions. Your child is matched with a tutor and sessions start, at the Truganina centre or online. After each session you receive a short note on what was covered and what is next.

Pricing

Small-group sessions (three to five students of a similar level) are from $25 an hour. One-to-one sessions are $35 to $45 an hour depending on year level, with VCE at the top of that range. Plans are monthly, you choose how many sessions a week, and you can cancel any time. The Skills Check and the consultation are free. Online and in-person sessions cost the same.

Yes. Year 10 sessions cover the Year 10 content and prepare for both, so the choice is made from strength. Our tutors will tell you honestly which is the better fit.
