High school tutoring in Tarneit starts, more often than not, with the Year 7 transition. The move from one primary teacher to seven secondary teachers, faster topics and independent assessment exposes any primary gap within a term. Our Year 7 and 8 work is mostly rebuilding fractions, place value and negative numbers in maths, and teaching analytical rather than retelling paragraphs in English, while keeping pace with the class.

We are honest with students about the marks they are leaving on the table and how to recover them, and the progress note after each session says so.
